Collection: Dangerbag Productions Collection
Dangerbag Productions is the name of our record label. Dangerbag is our trademark. He's our guiding principle and wears a Zoot suit with a camera for a head. Ed Carapezza created Dangerbag to represent the age of the content creator. The name Dangerbag comes from Ed's belief that all important art asks you to step outside your own perspective, and take a risk, i.e. be dangerous.
The graphic art was designed by Ed, and drawn by Steven Lasch.
The National Music Sanctuary is Dangerbag Productions' version of "Jam in the Van," or for older folks, "Austin City Limits." In partnership with Lanier Sammons and Cal State University Monterey Bay, Dangerbag Productions recorded thirty three live recording sessions. Students working on their BAs in Audio Engineering, guided by Lanier, focused on the audio. IATSE brothers, directed and produced by Ed, handled the videography and postproduction. Finished edits and mixes were then provided to the bands free of charge. All sessions can be found by searching "National Music Sanctuary" Youtube. Please like and share.
